Thanks for participating in r/IPTVGroupBuy.

If this is your first time posting, please check here to see if your question has already been answered. Most Popular Posts, IPTV Getting Started Guides, & FAQs.

Some topics, eg. "My service is down", "please help me identify a provider" are asked frequently. For these topics we have megathreads. Please direct discussions about these topics to the appropriate megathread to avoid clogging up the subreddit for everyone.

Lastly, please do not expect people here to tell you exactly which service you should choose. Asking that is asking to be scammed. If you're looking for something specific, please do some research first. You're more likely to get a good response by saying "I checked the following providers and found X was pretty good but missing this vital channel / had buffering issues, while Y was terrible. What else should I look into?"

Lot of these ott providers give errors after sometime updating the playlist. Not sure if anyone knows a workaround. You'll get a playlist empty or source unreachable error. Happens on crystal and occasionally on b1g

Yes it is still happening with B1G

Okay, figured the below out. I was not following the URL format. Next question:

Once I go through the process of putting together my Playlist with IPTVeditor, I put the information into a new Playlist in UHF. All the information shows up, but every stream I try to watch doesn't work. If I try through the IPTVeditor web player, the result is the same.

Can someone explain this step to me?:

  • This will put you in the basic editor for channels area. Here I would first go to the left panel and click on epg editor after expanding "channels." Top right corner, click on "add external epg source." Add the credentials you entered earlier as an external epg in this format:  http://test.com:80/xmltv.php?username=test&password=123 Once that's successful go back to the previous screen and hit the globe icon to add the epgs that iptveditor provides.

To me, this reads that I'm supposed to put in the same URL I did for my EPG provided by my IPTV provider. That doesn't seem to work. I get an error that says "EPG source not valid." What does this step accomplish? Am I missing something?

Thanks for giving such a comprehensive guide. When you say “proceed”, I don’t see a proceed button, so what do you select, and do you do it after each section of channels, movies and series, or after you selected all the categories for all sections?

thank you so much for your guide. I dont understand the point where you talk about 'pairing epgs'. what should that do? is it mandatory for any configuration?

It’s not mandatory but certainly useful. Using an EPG editor allows for you to fill in the gaps that IPtv services may have with the live channels.

Using iptveditor for the first time. Following the steps but I continue to get "request failed with error code 444" when I enter my URL in the format mentioned when trying to load external EPG.

Fixed the issue. I fat-fingered the xmltv portion of the URL 😂
