Hi Folks!

Thank you for being a part of the community and making this place what it is!

We've received a lot, and I mean A LOT of requests for reviews on the various services.

The purpose of this thread is to direct members to the hard work of reviewing the various services that we commonly encounter. This list is by no means comprehensive, but we hope to make it as such.

If you'd like to help your community here, please visit the following the IPTV Service Review Template and make a post with your findings. We will do our best to include it in the review thread. Please follow this official template, or your review will not be considered.

If you've already posted a review (in the past) we would love for you to reformat it to our standard template. This will help with continuity and clarity for those following in our footsteps. We are linking those reviews here for now.

We also have a Google Forms which you can submit to as well. We will be integrating reviews there to post on the subreddit in the future, but have yet to do so. For now, a post detailing the service with our template will suffice.

Please note:

  • Reviews are done by Valued Contributors, Community Members and helpful people working in the background.
  • Reviews can be subjective, and will vary in many ways. (Devices, service URLs, Geographic Location, Internet Speeds, etc. can impact a user's experience)

Its a shame. I have 4 TVs at home but live alone. Cant install it on all 4 tvs without getting 4 subscriptions which seems wasteful. Wish they at least allowed multiple connections just not simultaneously.

You can watch on all the tvs just not at the same time. I have two devices, and as long as I’m not using the same service on both at the same time I can watch.

is that the norm? most sellers have told me that I can only connect one device per connection. only one seller told me I can install on unlimited but it was more expensive. another one told me max 3.

I assumed it was a translation error but it stopped working and they confirmed even if I wasn't watching at the same time I can only connect the playlist on one device per connection. might just be the sellers I've talked to on Alibaba tho

It’s based on concurrent connections, in the services I’ve used you can absolutely install it on loads of devices and just use one at a time

🤷‍♂️ I installed it on my devices and it works every time. Perhaps it’s a lost in translation kind of thing?

Dude, one connection in terms of session, etc. Perhaps the confusion here is app bind if any. Many IPTV apps (not the IPTV service mind you) use it for activation and authorization. Mostly paid ones. Use free IPTV apps/players, or one supporting multiple devices (Smarters TV pro (free, works great), ToviMate (not sure the obsession), or IPTV provided sourced app. Many, including Trex, xtreme media offer one for free).

  • mac address can be changed (Windows, macos, Linux), but it will interfere with network traffic if devices are used at the same time on the same (home wifi, etc.) network. Mac address only relevant for local network traffic/apps. Internet wise, including IPTV service it has no impact . All devices masked by router mac address and egress (aka wan IP address). Well, assuming VPN is not in place, but then still, mac address is the same. It’s irrelevant. The stream/session is the factor for multiple connections.

    Mega does, but not all sellers can do it. Look in their listings or chat with sellers of Mega to see which ones can do this.

        Hey there, im just wondering why we don’t review sellers as well as services? When I go on Z2U there are so many sellers of strong 8k, it’s hard to even know where to start.

        Sort by store level which sorts the sellers by sales volume. It’s usually a safe bet that those with the most sales are decent. Go to their store page and reading the reviews is reassuring as well.

        I feel like sellers can change, and it would be way too much information to try to get in a coherent sort of way.

        My best advice is to do trials with all the resellers, you’ll get an idea of how they have it setup, and choose what’s best for your needs

        Looking for a good IPTV for sports in the USA. I've done a bit of research on this sub, and it seems Strong 8K Eagle 4K, Lion, and Trex were the best? Any other ones I should be looking at?

        Do not get iptv subscription from https://iptvfestival.com/ They ignore messages, take your money and offer no help. You pay for 1 year subscription and then send u a 4 month subscription. Horrible service.

        Question, I used the dummy channel lookup to see what my current service is and it's none of the big ones above, am I allowed to name them here and review? It's been pretty solid so far, although some cons I think fall in line with most of the services reviewed.

        The info channels at the beginning of most groups, usually start with a #, they have a logo or specific scenes that indicates the service. There is a pinned thread that helps identify services.

        Might be in the minority here. Linux user, running debian, tvheadend, osmc boxes, one nvidia shield that rarely gets watched. Lately my provider has been slipping with support, he went on vacation, nobody left in charge, renewal request stacking up, channel reports up the cazoo, so my quest to find another provider. It would be helpful if, when reviewing providers, if there was a section addressing the availability or not of an m3u/epg xml. Sometime back many providers have deleted the option of downloading m3u/xml data and switched to supporting more android app type devices. There is a method to retrieve the data with an XCIPTV address, and there is https://github.com/Cyogenus/Xtream-m3u_plus-IPTV-Player-by-My-1 Also within the review, a section as to the epg data that is retrieved. My provider has a well formatted xml file, with channels assigned to groups, groups are assigned to a location, ie USA, Canada, etc. how is the reviewers channel/group, are there many, few, lots, none errors.             I’m trying to get a trial right now. I’m considering a panel on one of these providers. Waiting to hear back from the panel sellers. If I get it I will do a review for sure.

            Mega vs. Dino? What's the better back up? Comparisons, similarities, differences? Using dino now but live TV seems to buffer a LOT. Is there a better lower price tier service for a back up than either of these? Thanks in advance!

            Do any of these services offer a NCAA Mens basketball category? Right now i have Trex and having trouble getting games. I also just lost ESPN. I only have ESPN HD and its a foreign language. I have no Adam Sandler too! Seems like i just cant find the perfect service to use. I already tested about 10 different servers and on my 2nd 1 month service.

              I’m new to IPTV literally found out about it Friday.

              I got a month of credits with A website that only gives m3u links and no EPG. It worked fine for the UFC, no lag.

              But I wanted more, I found this subreddit and got myself a month of Trex to test. Simply added login details to all my apps and works perfectly. Love to see guide info also.

              Tivimate on my Nvidia shield also recorded a show while it was turned off and it saved to the USB plugged in. Pretty awesome !

                Sorry, I wouldn’t be able to speak on what’s good for Europe. If you’ve done some trials, I’d say get a month of the service you liked and give it a go.

                Did you ever find anything? I am looking for Taiwan Live channels and China VOD—what the sellers of Chinese boxes like eVPAD,EVBOX, SViCloud, and UBOX etc have, but no resellers carry them on Z2U. Maybe Alibaba...

                        It’s djffeeenr bars I literally said in the second bullet point that your mileage will basically vary depending on various circumstances. You should pick the top few and do your own trials and testing.
