Template looks good and thanks for making it. It might be worthwhile to add it in the comparison spreadsheet after we get a few data points but a reddit post is a good start.

Can we add a couple of things?
- location: City where the service is being tested would be ideal.
- Home internet speedtest as well (no need of speedtest report. Just up and down speeds like: 1G_1G or 10M_100M)

Location decides ping times and content switching speed.

Thanks, I agree this is at least a start to getting something down. I've added a new section at the top for User Test Environment to incorporate your request and a few others.

Good stuff adding User Test env. I had forgotten about VPN and device types.

A spreadsheet compilation would be great.

Well done! I've been wondering how best to evaluate a provider so this will help!

This is a great template, thanks for putting it together. How do I test for resolution options and audio quality? Is there a tool I should use to do that part?

VLC player is also a greaat tool to capture bitrate, resolution, and audio related details.

Glad you like it, there are a number of ways to test for resolution and audio via your player (Tivimate, Sparkle, etc..). They usually all list the current resolution and audio for the channel you are watching. What player do you currently use? Also there are other tools that can help like EPG editors like iptvboss, but there are larger learning curves with those tools

I usually use MyTVOnline3 on my tv box, but I can do this testing on my tablet with Tivimate. (Or I also have IMPlayer premium but haven’t used it yet). Thanks for explaining that

All of those will show you the resolution and audio; I know MyTVOnline3 has it in the info panel and a few other locations I believe. Also running it via a external player like VLC will show you all details.
